class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">La Universidad Polit\u00e9cnica Estatal del Carchi (UPEC), en articulaci\u00f3n con BIOCONECTA\u2013HEIFER, desarroll\u00f3 el encuentro \u201cUPEC + BIOCONECTA: Alianzas por la Sostenibilidad\u201d, un espacio de intercambio de experiencias y conocimientos que reuni\u00f3 a alrededor de 350 estudiantes de primer semestre de todas las carreras, con el prop\u00f3sito de fortalecer la cultura de sostenibilidad en la comunidad universitaria.<br><br>\nDurante la jornada, los participantes conocieron iniciativas vinculadas con la bioeconom\u00eda, los bionegocios, la gobernanza ambiental y la resiliencia sostenible en Ecuador, mediante la conferencia \u201cBIOCONECTA: Introducci\u00f3n a la Bioeconom\u00eda y a los Bionegocios y fortalecimiento de capacidades territoriales para la gobernanza ambiental y la resiliencia sostenible en Ecuador\u201d, impartida por Solange Cevallos.<br><br>\nAsimismo, Christian Ter\u00e1n, gerente de UPEC Creativa EP, abord\u00f3 el tema de las energ\u00edas renovables y el uso de paneles solares, y puso en discusi\u00f3n la propuesta de implementaci\u00f3n de un parque fotovoltaico en el Centro Experimental Alonso Tadeo, ubicado en la Centro Experimental ubicado en Mira.<br><br>\nUno de los momentos destacados fue la presentaci\u00f3n del Club de Sostenibilidad de la UPEC, que, mediante una dramatizaci\u00f3n y actividades l\u00fadicas, acerc\u00f3 al p\u00fablico a las cinco dimensiones de la sostenibilidad y promovi\u00f3 la reflexi\u00f3n sobre el papel de cada persona en la construcci\u00f3n de un mundo m\u00e1s sostenible.<br><br>\nEl encuentro permiti\u00f3 visibilizar las acciones que impulsa la UPEC para integrar la sostenibilidad en la vida universitaria, fomentar el intercambio de experiencias entre estudiantes y actores vinculados con iniciativas sostenibles, y fortalecer alianzas para desarrollar futuras acciones conjuntas, promoviendo una comunidad universitaria consciente y activa frente a los desaf\u00edos ambientales y sociales.
